Patrick Peterson – CB

2021 Team: Minnesota Vikings

Patrick Peterson went to eight consecutive Pro Bowls for the Cards during his first eight years in the league. For quite a long time, the fifth-overall selection of the 2011 draft was recognized as one of pro football’s premier cover guys.

Arizona allowed Peterson to split during the 2021 offseason after the former LSU product’s play began to drop off a bit. The 6-foot-1, 203-pounder took his talents to the Minnesota Vikings, who proceeded to sign Peterson to a one-year contract.

There’s been talk that the Vikings may have interest in re-signing Peterson, but there’s no agreement in place at the present time. The 31-year-old is no longer at the top of his game, but there’s reason to believe that Peterson will find employment somewhere in 2022.
