4 former Cardinals stars who are still searching for employment

All the way back in 2008, the Cards landed a mammoth defensive end out of the University of Miami. Calais Campbell, a 6-foot-8, 300-pounder, went on to accomplish great things in the NFL.
The former second-round choice spent nine outstanding campaigns in Arizona before bolting for the Jacksonville Jaguars in 2017. Campbell was a part of the only Cardinals squad to appear in a Super Bowl in February of 2009 and was voted to back-to-back Pro Bowls (2014-15) during his stint with the club.
Campbell would make three more Pro Bowl appearances during his time with the Jaguars (2017-19) and another as a member of the Baltimore Ravens following the 2020 season. It looks as if the 35-year-old and the Ravens have agreed to cut ties, but the solid performance turned in by Campbell last fall would indicate that there’s still gas left in the wily veteran’s tank.
