Anyone who participates in fantasy football knows how valuable a running quarterback can be to your squad’s success.
Passing statistics are the forte of any fantasy signal-caller, but the rushing numbers that only a handful of passers can consistently provide are quite an added bonus.
Cards starter Kyler Murray can fling the rock with the best of them, but the 5-foot-10, 207-pounder can also wreak havoc on defenses with his legs.
Last fall, the 24-year-old Murray ran for 423 yards and totaled five rushing touchdowns in the 14 games he dressed for.
The bazooka that Murray has attached to his right shoulder accounted for another 3,787 yards and 24 scores through the air last season.
That production will almost certainly increase in 2022, especially if the two-time Pro Bowler stays healthy for all 17 of Arizona’s matchups.
