Yep. It’s them. The Carolina Panthers remain the Arizona Cardinals’ biggest trap game.

Good grief, can the Carolina Panthers just not beat the Cardinals for once? It seemed like a twist of fate in 2011 when Patrick Peterson and Cam Newton faced off in their first NFL game. Arizona won that first game and another in 2013 but hasn’t beaten the Panthers since.

Since then, Arizona’s lost a wildcard and a conference championship game to the powder blue-clad Panthers. It wouldn’t be so mind-boggling if they were close games. However, it’s like every time these two play, Arizona doesn’t even get off the bus.

The worst thing about it is that it’s in Carolina this season, and much like 2020 when they last played over on the east coast, it just doesn’t feel good.

The Cardinals just need to beat this time once to stop this curse. Otherwise, who knows how long it’ll last. On the other hand, if Arizona wins, it may just be one of the most celebrated wins of the season.
