Arizona Cardinals must retire these jersey numbers

Larry Fitzgerald’s number 11 jersey cannot be worn by anyone else

Regardless of if the Arizona Cardinals know for sure if Larry Fitzgerald is officially retired or not, they must take action to make sure no one else ever dons the number 11 in a Cardinals uniform again.

And I’m not talking a Marshall Goldberg-kind of thing where they allow someone to wear the number. Fitzgerald is the ultimate Cardinal and the second-best wide receiver in NFL history.

Fitzgeralds’ resume speaks for itself, and he was the consummate pro when he was actively playing. So much so that not even fans of divisional rival teams could dislike Fitzgerald. The fast the Arizona Cardinals retire his number, the better.

And if he comes back for whatever reason, it won’t be that big of a problem. His number 11 jersey needs to be protected at all costs.
