The Arizona Cardinals’ special teams will make crucial plays in the playoffs.
Yes, I am going to talk about kickers and punters. Yes, they are people, too, and special teams still matter. Matt Prater has been one of the more solid kickers in recent memory and at one point held the NFL record for the longest field goal ever.
But Prater’s experience will help keep the Cardinals’ offense on track by at least getting points when they need it most. Prater struggled a little bit last year, but after getting used to kicking in Arizona and on the road, he should be just fine.
Additionally, 19-year veteran Andy Lee has been one of the best punters since 2000. A long-time 49er, Lee earned three Pro Bowls and All-Pro selections while in San Francisco. I

Lee will hit great punts that will pin opponents deep, giving the defense much more room to be aggressive and play the way Vance Joseph wants them to.
Speaking of the defense…
