Will Isaiah Simmons and Zaven Collins enjoy breakout seasons?
This one is more about Collins than it is about Simmons. The Arizona Cardinals could potentially have one of the best tandems at linebacker in 2022, but neither has played to their full potential. Simmons showed growth in 2021, but he still made too many tackles four or five yards downfield.
Collins’ rookie season was a washout and he must find a way to step it up in 2022 or the bust label will start to emerge next to his name. Both linebackers can breakout in 2022, but Simmons needs to start making plays at least closer to the line while Collins simply needs to find a way to make a tackle.
At this point, I am not confident enough that they will have breakout seasons. But they should prove they better than they played last year, and in Simmons’ case, better than he was in 2020 and 2021.

Overall, these five burning questions are on the minds of many Arizona Cardinals fans. Some, more than others. A few questions have positive answers, but there are also a few in this slideshow that many are looking for something positive to say. We will get more answers following the season’s first month.
