Budda Baker and Jalen Thompson record an interception

Patrick Mahomes is one of the best in the league, no doubt. But he can get reckless with the football and will also trust his strong arm too much. The Arizona Cardinals are noticeably weak at corner, and Mahomes will have no trouble in picking on them early.

However, this also means defensive coordinator Vance Joseph will end up making necessary adjustments that will involve complicated blitz packages in the front seven that will further allow Baker and Thompson to confuse Mahomes in the secondary. This is where you will see Baker and Thompson make their marks and they will jump at least one pass.

It is getting easier to claim Baker and Thompson is the best safety duo in the NFL and it will be on full display this Sunday against one of the league’s best quarterbacks. It is not farfetched to expect an interception from each on Sunday in what will be a solid performance from both players.
