The Arizona Cardinals are facing a porous Seattle Seahawks defense in Week 6, meaning their likewise stagnant offense has a chance to shine.
While it is true the Arizona Cardinals have struggled offensively, mainly because of spotty playcalling and clock mismanagement, it doesn’t mean you need to be sitting all of their players this week. Especially since they are going against one of the league’s worst defenses in the Seattle Seahawks.
But don’t be too tempted. The Cardinals, even if they manage to break the 30-point barrier this Sunday, can’t give everyone on their offense sound fantasy numbers. There are, however, two players on the offense I really like this week.
1 – Marquise Brown will put up big numbers for the Arizona Cardinals
Here’s the score: You need to start Marquise Brown week after week until opposing defenses prove they can stop him. Even when DeAndre Hopkins returns in Week 7, continue to start Brown, as the guy is on pace to put up some legendary numbers.
On the season, Brown has 38 catches, 417 yards, and 3 touchdowns. Against the Seahawks porous defense this Sunday, don’t expect anything less than a seven-reception, 70-yard performance with a possible touchdown.
2 – Greg Dortch will have another irrelevant affair
Dortch is one player you need to sit, as he recorded just one reception and six yards over the last two contests. The culprit? Rondale Moore. And since Moore came out and had a good game last week, expect Dortch to remain buried on the Cardinals depth chart.
What’s sad is, even if Moore comes out and does nothing as he did in Week 4, it would take a lot for Kingsbury to put Dortch in the game. Moore’s draft status, no doubt, supplants Dortch, so until the former suffers through a string of bad performances, keep the latter on your bench.
3 – Eno Benjamin has a chance to shine
Benjamin is a good back, but he does struggle with inconsistency. He has three games of under 4.0 yards per carry this season, and two games at 7.0 yards per carry or more. Against the Seahawks run defense, expect the 7,0 version of Benjamin to show up.
Be warned, however. Benjamin won’t average 7.0 yards per rush because of the workload he will receive this weekend. But he will play well enough to warrant a spot as the top back in the Arizona Cardinals backfield.
