The Arizona Cardinals have little room for error as they face off at home against the Seattle Seahawks in Week 9 of the 2022 season.

The Arizona Cardinals are 3-5 and are on the cusp of falling behind in the NFC playoff race. A win today will work wonders, but with a Seahawks team that appears to be growing stronger as the season progresses, this will be no easy task.

But there is some hope for the Cardinals, given DeAndre Hopkins’ presence and the fact head coach Kliff Kingsbury, despite a recent contract extension, may be in job-saving mode. So there is a sense of urgency in the desert for this one. That said, you may find some good prop bets here regarding the Cardinals top players in Week 9. Let’s check them out.

1 – DeAndre Hopkins OVER 84.5 receiving yards

Because Hopkins “only” has 262 receiving yards in the previous two contests and he’s facing a Seahawks defense that, while stronger in recent weeks, still has a lot to prove. Stopping him will be no easy task, so you can expect the Cardinals wideout to be all-world in this one.

2 – Zach Ertz OVER 39.5 receiving yards

Once again, we’re going with the OVER here. Ertz only has 55 receiving yards over the past two weeks, but the 39.5 prop here could be a steal. One reason is that, the last time these two teams squared off, the aging tight end had 70 receiving yards on seven receptions. Even with Hopkins’ presence, quarterback Kyler Murray could target Ertz early and often considering that past success.

3 – Kenneth Walker OVER 74.5 rushing yards

Yes, while the Arizona Cardinals have two props that I really like, I also need to give the Seahawks some credit here. Kenneth Walker is Offensive Rookie of the Year material who ran all over what has become an ailing Arizona Cardinals defense in Week 6. I also projected earlier in the week that Walker will again embarrass the Redbirds rushing defense, and I’m solidifying it by going with the Over for his player prop.

Last week’s results…

Last week, I went a perfect 3-0 in the props setting, improving my record to 10-14 on the year. And at 14-10 in the best bets category, I’m 24-24 record-wise regarding all bets. Perhaps I can take my broom again this week and get yet another sweep, which will place me within striking distance in prop bets.

And in case you’re curious on last week’s props, I bet on Kyler Murray to supersede 242.5 passing yards, Hopkins to shatter his 76.5 receiving yards prop, and for running back Eno Benjamin to dip south of 51.5 rushing yards. Let’s see what this week brings.
