1 – Brian Flores

Clearly, I’m going with a coach who has experience in the NFL, something I take into consideration more than perhaps anything else. Secondly, although he never saw a playoff appearance, Flores finished with winning records in two of his three seasons in Miami.

Besides the abysmal 0-7 start in 2019, Flores won 24 of his final 42 games, showing us that yes, he can be an effective coach in this league. There are a few knocks on him, like the way he communicates with players – I’m talking of course, about what he allegedly said to quarterback Tua Tagovailoa.

But then again, is it much different from what Bill Parcells or Tom Coughlin may have said to their players once upon a time? Probably not. I stated a few times that the Arizona Cardinals would do well with a coach boasting a Parcells-like personality, and Brian Flores may have one if he indeed did say what he supposedly said to Tagovailoa.

light. More. Are the Arizona Cardinals closer to contention than we all think?

Overall, I like most of the coaches listed above, sans Joseph, and would be happy with any one of them. Again, sans Joseph. We will wait and see what the Arizona Cardinals do and if they go with any of the above, or if Michael Bidwill and Monti Ossenfort decide to embark in another direction.
