4 – Kyler Murray voices his EXCITEMENT for the upcoming season

Many of us berated Kyler Murray over the past year, and I’m no exception. But I’m also the first to stress that Murray is still just 25, and he will be 26 when the season opener rolls around (or whenever he’s healthy enough to return).

Murray has been immature, he’s been me-first, his production on the field tanked, and he’s been just about everything you don’t want from the face of the franchise. But in the offseason, he will have one of those moments when he takes ownership, and that will translate to a different Kyler Murray when he ultimately steps back onto the field.

5 – Cardinals enter training camp as projected wildcard contenders

And finally, the boldest prediction of the bunch. If all goes well in the bold predictions above, why can’t the Arizona Cardinals enter the 2023 season as projected wildcard contenders? It’s not like this is a terrible football team, with a solid, young core on defense that will only improve in the offseason, plenty of pass-catchers besides Hopkins, and a franchise left tackle in D.J. Humphries.

And no, Murray isn’t exactly a bust. He has franchise quarterback talent, and if he starts acting like it, well, this football team has a chance to be much better than many will give them credit for when prediction season rolls around.
