It is that point of the offseason where nothing with weight will occur, unless the Cardinals make up their mind at head coach. Until then, it is just a matter of rumors, projections, and smoke regarding any move around the roster.

The Cardinals don’t have many important free agents set to hit the market, as most of their roster is locked up through at least 2026.

The biggest thing we are worried about is what the Cardinals will do with the No. 3 overall pick in April, which could very well determine the outlook of the franchise.

USA Today released an article that showed four big media outlets’ predictions of what Arizona chooses to do with the pick, and it is safe to say they are on the same wavelength. Not in terms of who it's going to be, but what position they take.

Cardinals Predicted To Go Either Spencer Fano or Francis Mauigoa at No. 3 Overall

Yes, Arizona is predicted to go offensive line in the first round, which is by no means a bad idea. The team is likely going to see Kelvin Beachum retire relatively soon, and Monti Ossenfort needs to get ahead of it.

As for Fano or Mauigoa, you really can’t go wrong, as both make their presence felt in the trenches. Both can open up the running game while also providing quality pass protection.

Before Oregon quarterback Dante Moore made the choice to go back to college for another year, you could’ve made the argument that the team should’ve gone for him in round one.

But with that off the table, the offensive line is definitely the play for the team. Its just a matter of who they choose to go with.
