Even though the Arizona Cardinals are not projected to be a championship contender team in 2024, there is a great amount of promise that they will take a step forward. Aside from their 2021 season, the Cardinals have not made the playoffs since 2015. There is a chance that if a majority of the Cardinals players stay healthy, Arizona will be fighting for a playoff spot come December. Monti Ossenfort has done a great job at setting up the future for the Cardinals which started last year during the NFL Draft. Since then, he has addressed pressing needs at various positions and made reasonable contract offers to free agents that doesn’t put the Cardinals in a tough financial spot.

According to overthecap.com, the Cardinals currently have over $20 million in cap space which will change once Trey Benson signs his rookie contract and if the Cardinals sign any more free agents before the start of the season.

There are four players on the Cardinals that are highly underpaid based on the production that they bring to the team. Whether it is because of the production last season or their potential going into this season, Arizona currently has a bargain for these players.
