Arizona Cardinals Cheerleaders Chinese takeover

AUTHOR: Zach | IN: Cardinals | COMMENTS: None Yet

The Arizona Cardinals definitely have some of the hottest cheerleaders in the game. No promises, but hopefully we’ll be hearing from them on here in the future. Check out this YouTube clip of the girls doing their thing over in Hong Kong earlier this year.

Matt Leinart: Best College QB Ever?

AUTHOR: Zach | IN: Cardinals | COMMENTS: 3 Comments

That title will probably always be up for debate, no matter who you are talking to. No one can deny the dominance that Matt Leinart exhibited during his three year tenure at USC, but for some reason unknown to me, people seem to quickly forget just how good this guy really was in college. Perhaps it’s because he plays for the Cardinals, perhaps it’s because he inexplicably fell to the number 10 position in the draft, who knows. But for all those Cards fans out there who are desperately seeking relief from years mired in mediocrity, your [...]

Best way to tell teams on the rise? – QB stats

AUTHOR: Zach | IN: Cardinals | COMMENTS: 2 Comments

Everyone, including me, is expecting big things from Matt Leinart this upcoming season. Here’s an excerpt from an article written by ESPN.com’s John Clayton about the QBs in 2007.
Defenses might win championships, but not without a top-level quarterback.
For the past several years, the quarterback completion percentage has been a figure I’ve been clinging to in evaluating teams. In looking for potential sleeper teams or teams that could improve into championship contenders, I start with the quarterback who can improve the franchise’s completion percentage……..
The Bengals, Seahawks, Cardinals, Steelers, 49ers and Panthers are prime candidates for making completion percentage jumps of [...]

Pat Tillman – We Remember You

AUTHOR: Zach | IN: Cardinals | COMMENTS: 1 Comment

Pat Tillman was many things: a college graduate with a degree in Marketing, a college football star (1997 Pac-10 Defensive Player of the Year), professional football player with the Arizona Cardinals (drafted 227th in 1998), a husband, a brother, a son, an American, and a soldier.
A soldier is a person who has made a choice. They will never call themselves a hero, ever. What they will tell you is that they have a duty, a mission, a task, a purpose……and they have made the choice to see it through. What is this mission? Simple – defend [...]

Comparison: Anquan Boldin vs. Keyshawn & the world

AUTHOR: Zach | IN: Cardinals | COMMENTS: None Yet

Former Carolina Panthers WR Keyshawn Johnson announced his retirement from the world of Pro Football on Tuesday May 22. This prompted a flurry of activity throughout the blogging and sportswriting world as everyone began to evaluate and weigh in on Keyshawn’s career and his status as a possible Hall of Famer. Naturally, I weighed in with my opinion, stating that he has had a very productive career and should always be regarded as a very good receiver in the history books, probably not HOF worthy, but if he did get in I wouldn’t be upset over it.
But that’s when [...]

The Next Dan Patrick?

AUTHOR: Zach | IN: Cardinals | COMMENTS: None Yet

In his new blog Hashmarks, ESPN.com’s NFL version of True Hoop, Matt Mosley uncovers a gem of a YouTube clip. I could be wrong, but I wouldn’t be surprised if this future sports media superstar had a job in Bristol as early as next week.
By the way, make sure to go check out Hashmarks. I’ve always liked Mosley and it seems like we can expect constant updates from him over there. Should end up being a pretty damn good general NFL spot.

NFC West is Best? Not yet, but it will be…..

AUTHOR: Zach | IN: Cardinals | COMMENTS: None Yet

Everything goes in cycles, up & down, back & forth, always changing. For years the NFC East has been in a duel with the NFC South for producing the best division in the conference, but that is all going to change in the next few seasons. The NFC West will become the best division in the conference, and here’s why:
NFC West
Arizona Cardinals – Looking to change our tag as the doormat of the NFL, the Arizona Cardinals have also been loading up on talent and have it all locked in for the next five years. Matt Leinart, [...]
