I thought long and hard how I would describe this one. I decided for sure I couldn’t pick one or two words, it was a long laundry list of things that went wrong Thursday night.
Kurt Warner. You can’t place all the blame on him. However, we can now put to rest the MVP talk. MVP’s don’t throw 3 interceptions in primetime against average teams.
Turnovers. See Kurt Warner. Although my 18 month old had an easier time holding on to his ball last night than Anquan Boldin did. Not a good time to pick up a case of the dropsies.
Tackling. I’ve [...]

Happy Thanksgiving
Happy Thanksgiving Cardinals Fans!
I’ve got a lot to be thankful this year, including the season our Cardinals are having so far this season. We can wrap up the division tonight in an Eagles feast.
I hope everyone enjoys their holiday. Be safe and enjoy the game tonight!

Happy Thanksgiving!
The Arizona Cardinals travel back east once again to try and tame the road I wish was less traveled by these redbirds. Someone in the league front office must have had a sense of humor when they invited the Cardinals to play on the road, on national television, on Thanksgiving. The joke though, may be on Philadelphia and not Arizona. Philadelphia has been a mess over the past two weeks and slide almost completely out of the wildcard picture in the NFC.
Two weeks ago, Philadelphia went to Cincinnati and manged to finish in the leagues first tie in six [...]

NFC West Breakdown: Week 12
(Scott Allen writes for Raising Zona, which is FSB’s Arizona Cardinals blog. Representing the rest of the NFC West are 12th Man Rising, Niner Noise. and Ramblin’ Fan.)
I’m not quite sure what else new we learned about the least exciting division in football? The leader of the pack, the Arizona Cardinals, continued to prove they can’t beat the good teams, even at home. The 49ers, Seahawks, and Rams all continued to prove they enjoy their status in next year’s NFL Draft by continuing to lose. Of those three teams, only Seattle managed to play a close game. The division was [...]
Well, that was an interesting game.
I’m not quite sure what to make of this game overall. According to Fox NFL broadcasters Kenny Albert and Darryl “Moose” Johnston, the Arizona Cardinals showed people some things, they still didn’t earn the respect they needed. I agree with them to a point.
I think the Cards definitely have already started to earn respect. However, today they learned the mistakes that were made that allowed them to defeat weaker teams in St. Louis, San Francisco, and Seattle, are the same mistakes that most definitely can not be made against the NFL’s best in the New [...]
BREAKING: Brandon Jacobs is out
Just heard on Fox Sports that Giants running back Brandon Jacobs is out of today’s game. In fact, he will be listed on the inactives list. Interesting. We were told as recent as two hours ago that he was in and ready to play. It should be interesting to hear what happened.
They still have Ahmad Bradshaw and Derrick Ward though. So, the Cardinals defense will still need to bring their “A’ game.
Go Cards!

It’s a possible playoff preview on Sunday at University of Phoenix Stadium. No one has told the oddsmakers in Vegas though as the Giants are 3 1/2 point favorites on the road. A little surprising, but not entirely. People still have a hard time believing in the Cardinals, mostly because of the division they play in. People have an easier time believing in Sarah Palin as a vice-president than the Cardinals are a good team – except for those who follow them and the Cardinals themselves.
This team is winning games even when they aren’t at their best. However, that was [...]

The NFL Pro Bowl Ballot link is below. Please go vote for your Cardinals! Right now, as voting has gone so far, the 8 of the 11 NFC starters on BOTH offense and defense would be Redskins. Redskins people!!! Are you kidding me?? Let’s get on it! Go Cards!

For the second time in the past three weeks, Arizona Cardinals quarterback Kurt Warner was voted by the fans as the NFL’s FedEx Air player of the week. After throwing for 395 yards and 1 touchdown in Seattle, you had to think he would at least be nominated. Well deserved. Sure he had one pick, but it was his first one in three games, giving him only seven on the season so far.
This week’s opponent, the New York Giants, will have to try really hard to give up that much in the air to Warner. If there is one quarterback [...]
