NFC West Has a Chance to Slip Further Away from Cardinals

With the San Francisco 49’ers and St. Louis Rams playing this weekend, the Arizona Cardinals have a shot at slipping further behind the 49’ers.  As for the Rams, they have a shot at getting their first win and tying the Cards for last place in the NFC West.  The Seattle Seahawks are off this week as well as the Cards.  The Niners might have a problem though.  They head to face one of the two remaining unbeaten teams in the Detroit Lions this weekend.  The Lions are 5-0.  With the way this season has gone though, all bets are off.

The Cardinals, with a Niners loss, would fall 3 1/2 games back of the division lead.  Yippee.  Doesn’t get better than that, does it?  The Niners will have a tough time I think though finding themselves 5-1 after this week.

This weekend is more about the Cards getting rest and preparing for the rest of the season though.  They need to figure a lot of things out.  They still have a shot at the division with two games against the Niners left.  Anything is possible, but the time is now to figure it out.  As I say, get busy winning or get busy losing.
