The Wounded Warriors Amputee Football Team is going to be playing former Arizona Cardinals and other personalities on Wednesday January 28th at Shadow Mountain High School in north Phoenix.  Guys like Jake Plummer, Jeremy Staat, and Danny White will be participating.  Also participating will be University of Arizona players, Olympic Gold Medalists, NFL, NBA, MLB, NHL & PGA stars and prominent members of Arizona’s and the NFL’s Media.  The halftime entertainment will be Snoop Dog.  The event costs just $10.  Game time is 6:00 p.m.

The Super Bowl Gospel Celebration will take place at ASU Gammage Center at 7:30 p.m. In its Sixteenth year, the Super Bowl Gospel Celebration is the first and only gospel event sanctioned by the NFL for Super Bowl Weekend. The concert series features Grammy Award-winning, multi-platinum selling gospel and contemporary Christian and mainstream artists, marquee NFL players and the NFL PLAYERS Choir.  Tickets are just $42.50 each.

Another free event is the Super Bowl Celebrity Golf Classic at JW Marriott Desert Ridge.  The playing field will consist of twenty-five members of the Pro Football Hall of Fame.  The event is at 9:00 am on Saturday January 31st.

Also, ESPN will have a fan fest at Scottsdale Fashion Square and their personalities will be broadcasting live from the event during Super Bowl week.

There are a number of other events taking place that will have you spending a bit more.  Events like the Taste of the NFL, Direct TV Super Fan Fest where the headliner will be Imagine Dragons, and of course the Super Bowl itself will have you emptying your bank accounts.
