17. Atlanta Falcons

2014 season record: 6-10

Top additions: LB O’Brien Schofield, LB Justin Durant, LB Brooks Reed

Top departures: RB Steven Jackson, WR Harry Douglas, LB Sean Weatherspoon

2015 projection: 9-7, 2nd NFC South, miss playoffs

The Falcons certainly have the talent to make the playoffs but you just don’t know what you are going to get from the defense and then Matt Ryan at quarterback on offense.  If receiver Julio Jones stays healthy, which is something you can’t count on, then the Falcons will be a team to watch out for.  I have them at 9-7 and out of the playoffs.

This team can finish better than my prediction though no doubt.  Also keep in mind injuries can take this team south fast as well.  It happened to them in 2013 and they only slightly improved in 2014.
