2. Arizona Cardinals, Defense and Special Teams

Todd Bowles in his 2 seasons as Arizona Cardinals defense coordinator helped give the Cardinals a defense identity by leading the team to 5th most in takeaways in both 2013 and 2014. With Bowles leaving to take the New York Jets head coaching job, I don’t expect the 2015 Cardinals defense to skip a beat under new coordinator James Bettcher.  The Cardinals added Markus Golden, Rodney Gunter,  and Shaquille Riddick to the defense through the draft. Along with the talent already on the roster, expect this unit to continue to be as dominant as it has been.

The 2014 Cardinals defense finished the regular season with 18  interceptions, and 7 fumbles. The Arizona Cardinals defense had 50 points come from turnovers alone, expect this amount to increase with the Cardinals facing a number of teams with high flying offenses.
