Josh Mauro

The second-year defensive end from Stanford made the most of his time on the field on Saturday night.  He made four tackles on Saturday night but three of them were for losses.  That to me was the most impressive part to his game against the Chargers.

Mauro currently sits behind Calais Campbell and Corey Redding on the depth chart but playing the way he did Saturday night had to help his chances land on the final 53-man roster.  He showed a big reason why the defensive line is considered one of the deepest positions on the team.  He and his long arms could have a job in Arizona for a long time.
