Andre Ellington

If only this guy could stay healthy it is scary to think where the Cardinals running game would be even given the improvements it made in 2015.  Ellington struggled with injury off an on once again in the 2015 season but still made major contributions.

He had long touchdown runs against the Detroit Lions and Seattle Seahawks.  His touchdown run of 63-yard against the Lions was his longest rush of the season.  However his 48-yard touchdown run against the Seahawks may have been one of the biggest runs of the year for the Cardinals.

With the Cardinals trying to secure a victory in Seattle on Sunday Night Football, Ellington ran down the left sidelines for a fantastic touchdown late in the game.  He only had 289 yards rushing on the season but those are two of the most memorable runs the Cards had all season.

Ellington still provides that versatility though that is valuable when you have other guys hurting and can’t play.  Ellington I don’t think will be going anywhere.  He still provides depth on the bench.  However I think the days of proclaiming he will touch the ball 20-25 times a game are over.  Those touches will go to David Johnson.
