Stepfan Taylor

This man disappeared for the most part in 2015.  He did not find the end zone in 2015.  Then again, he only carried the ball 17 times in 16 games for the Cardinals this season.

His 58 yards rushing was down from the 208 he had in 2014 and even the 115 he had in his rookie season of 2013. He only caught one pass for four yards in 2015.

Taylor’s issue was depth.  There was just too much talent in front of him for him to see any significant time on the playing field.  His most action came in games that were no-doubters in Detroit and St. Louis.  So basically, he was the mop up guy to give others rest when they were no longer needed.

Does he make the team in 2016 with the same role?  Very hard to say.  I am on the fence with Taylor.  Special teams can keep him here but is that enough to crack the roster next season?  The Cardinals will be getting depth back at other positions and having Taylor as a fifth back may not be necessary.

If Taylor doesn’t land in Arizona in 2016, he will somewhere.  I think he’s good enough to be a team’s third or fourth option.
