Orlando Pace

Some people don’t see him getting in this year because Kurt Warner will.  However I say Warner may not even be there without Pace’s help on the offensive line with St. Louis during their Super Bowl runs.

When Pace was drafted in 1997 out of Ohio State, even though he was a number one overall pick, I still wasn’t sold on a tackle as the overall top pick in the draft.  Now, let’s just forget for a moment that this man graduated college less than 20 years ago.  To already be ready for the Pro Football Hall of Fame to me says a lot about him.

Pace played in 169 games, starting 165 of them for his career.  His only real “off” season was in 2007 when he only played in one game.  Two years later, he retired.  I know there are a lot of deserving people out there but I just can’t see the Hall going any longer without Pace.
