Kurt Warner

What more can you say or write about what Kurt Warner did to put the Arizona Cardinals on the map.  He brought the Cardinals back to respectability.  Fans loved him in both St. Louis and Arizona.

Warner played 12 NFL seasons and was a late bloomer as it has been well chronicled.  He threw for 208 touchdowns in his career.  He threw 100 of those touchdowns for the Cardinals.  He was so revered in Arizona that when current Cardinals quarterback Carson Palmer was lost for the season with a torn ACL in 2014, people were still begging him to come back, despite being out of the game for over five years.

Warner actually admitted he thought about a comeback to help the Cardinals out.  I don’t believe he would have been able to come back per NFL rules but it sure would have been a great story to tell. Don’t fear though Cardinals fans, after Warner gets into the Hall on Saturday night, we’ll have plenty to talk about.
