The Cardinals will draft a pass rusher and may move up to do so

The Cardinals do have means to trade up in this year’s draft.  There are four really decent pass rushers the Cardinals could go after in the first round but they will need to trade up to get any of the four.  Shaq Larson from Clemson, Joey Bosa from Ohio State, DeForest Buckner from Oregon, and Noah Spence from Eastern Kentucky.

Cardinals general manager Steve Keim has been clear on one thing.  They need pass rushers and they will be looking at them. The crop of defensive ends is heck of a lot more promising than the crop of quarterbacks, at least early in the draft.

If they can’t trade up to get a gem like one of those four, they will look at the best available amongst other needs like cornerback, safety, or linebacker. The defense will be a bigger priority than the offense in this draft.
