Olivier Vernon, DE, Miami Dolphins

This tag surprised me the most but in the end really isn’t surprising at all.  Vernon’s statistics speak for themselves.  However it was believe Vernon would be allowed to hit the open market.  So much for that.

On more than one occasion I wrote about the Cardinals and their chances at landing Vernon, or at the very least going after him.  Now, the Cardinals will not get that chance.

Vernon, who stands at 6-2, had 7.5 sacks in 2015.  He had 61 tackles for the Dolphins.  The big issue for the Dolphins now is being able to re-sign running back Lamar Miller.  Vernon’s tag designation puts that in doubt.
