Here is another free agent I didn’t think the Cardinals were ever going to get but if Carolina had let him test the waters, I do think the Cardinals would have made a few calls on him. However the Panthers were never going to let him go. Well, let’s say this, they were never going to allow another team near him given the season he had in 2015.

Norman had four interceptions in 2015. All of them were in the first month of the season. However Norman continued to scare other quarterbacks. He had 18 passes defensed in 2015. He also had two Carson Palmer passes defensed in the Panthers NFC Championship victory over the Cardinals in January.

Norman will be worth every cent the Panthers give him this offseason. I expect the Panthers and Norman will come to a long-term agreement in the not-too-distant future.
