Week 16: @Seattle Seahawks 2:25 p.m. FOX

Merry Christmas Eve!  The Cardinals get the gift of heading northwest for their annual tilt at CenturyLink Field in Seattle.  This game could mean a lot as we head into the last two weeks of the 2016 regular season.

Everyone thought last season’s finale could possibly be for the division but Seattle stumbled a bit out of the gate.  The Cardinals were in first place all season.  However 2016 is a new season and there is a very good chance this game could mean something in regard to playoff positioning.

The good news: If the Cardinals lose, will there be a lot of people watching with Christmas festivities going on?  I say Birdgang is strong, so I think a lot of people will be waiting to see this one.

The bad news: There is no time to recover if the Cardinals do lose this one and it costs them the division.  If that happens, so be it but the Cardinals have played the Seahawks tough in Seattle each of the past three seasons.  Even the 19-3 loss in 2014 with Drew Stanton behind center instead of Carson Palmer, the Cardinals defense held the Hawks in check for the better part of three quarters.

Prediction: This will be tough and if the Cardinals defeat the Seahawks in Arizona in October, I expect the Seahawks trying to do everything they can not to be swept by the Cardinals. Seahawks in a close one.
