David Johnson will rush for at least 1,300 yards

If he had played the entire season as the starter in 2015, Johnson may have gotten close to the 1,300 yards I am predicting for 2016.  He now has the full-time gig though, so he will have a shot at it.

Of course if Johnson gets a lot more than 1,300 yards, I don’t believe anyone will complain. However with so much talent alongside him, 1,300 yards will be a feat.

Chris Johnson returns and will see a lot of carries.  As will Andre Ellington if he can stay healthy. Let’s also not count out Kerwynn Williams.  Oh and did I mention David Johnson can catch the abll as well?  So yeah, he will be busy.

Given the workhorse he showed he could be towards the end of the 2015 season and now that the coaching staff has full confidence in him, there is nothing stopping Johnson but himself.  he got over his fumbling problems by mid-season in 2015, so he should take care of the ball. That will certainly be a huge factor here.

However given the thought that Johnson will accumulate more carries this season, 1,300 is certainly attainable, despite the use of players around him. The one to watch in this effort will be Chris Johnson though.  How much will they go to him in place of David Johnson.

I imagine game flow will dictate how things play out but right now the plan is David Johnson is the starter and will see the majority of carries.  Anything topping this mark would be icing on the cake.
