Chris Hubert

Here is a nice surprise.  Another receiver doing well that was never really on the radar to begin with.  It has been noted by fans and media that Hubert is quietly having himself a nice camp.

If the Cardinals decide to keep six receivers, Hubert would likely be that guy right now.  Hubert, out of small school Fayetteville State would be a nice story.  To be able to stand up against other competition in a position with great depth says a lot.

Hubert seemingly has the edge currently over guys like Brittan Golden and Jaxon Shipley.  Many thought Shipley would be the guy to step forward amongst that group.

Shipley certainly could still over take Hubert.  There are still four preseason games to play.  It’s early enough it is still up in the air.  However for a guy like Hubert who some had dismissed, including yours truly, as someone with just practice squad potential, this is great to see.  It is another example of it doesn’t matter where you came from.  All that matters is what are you doing for me now?
