The good

David Johnson.  He went off.  He carried the ball 27 times for 157 yards.  It was the most rushing yards in a single game by anyone so far early on in the 2016 NFL season.

In his postgame interview on arizonasports.com, Cardinals head coach Bruce Arians said if he hadn’t tripped himself up a couple of times, Johnson could have easily had 200 yards.  It was that kind of night for him.

Not only did Johnson run the ball well, he had a couple of nice receptions.  He finished with three receptions for 28 yards. That put him at 185 yards total from scrimmage for the game.

Also good on Thursday night was the pass rush.  The Cardinals racked up seven sacks.  The leaders were linebacker Markus Golden and defensive tackle Calais Campbell.  They each had two sacks.

One more shout out needs to go to receiver Larry Fitzgerald.  He had six receptions for 81 yards and two touchdowns.  He really helped Stanton.  Other guys like John Brown, Jaron Brown, and Michael Floyd had a hard time coming up with the ball.
