Tony Jefferson

Many felt Jefferson was snubbed for a Pro Bowl selection.  He wasn’t even named an alternate.  At number 84 on the list that is something.

Jefferson had 96 tackles, five passes defensed, two sacks, two forced fumbles, and two fumble recoveries. Not bad for a guy who also is looking at free agency this spring.

Jefferson had his best season as a Cardinal.  Sure, he had two interceptions in 2015 and didn’t get one in 2016.  He still kept most receivers in front of him.

Now it is time to see how much the Cardinals value him.  A lot of people talk about how the Cardinals will get a hometown discount or at least should from Jefferson on the free agent market.

Even then, the Cardinals may not be able to match an offer another team puts out there for him. How much is contending worth to him?  We’ll find out.  The way he is going however, don’t expect him to drop off this list anytime soon.
