Logan Ryan

2016 team: New England Patriots

Last month he was listed as one of the top five free agent cornerbacks available in free agency.  He would look nice in a Cardinals uniform.

The Cardinals will be in the market for a starting cornerback opposite Patrick Peterson.  Ryan had 92 tackles and two interceptions last season for the New England Patriots.

Ryan has 13 interceptions in his four seasons in the NFL.  Peterson has 20 interceptions in six NFL seasons.

If the Cardinals do not go Ryan, there are other options, cheaper ones, with their own free agents. Marcus Cooper and Mike Jenkins will likely cost less but this is one of the priority positions the Cardinals were deficient in last season.

He’s not going to be cheap.  Some consider him too expensive even for the Patriots to keep. Someone will probably overpay for his services.  This is one position I’d give the Cardinals a pass on for overspending for the right player.
