7. Detroit Lions

The Cardinals have defeated the Lions seven straight times.  The last time the Lions beat the Cardinals was in 2005.

The last time the Cardinals visited Detroit was in 2015.  The Cardinals had the game wrapped up by halftime in a 42-17 rout.

In a season where Cardinals quarterback Carson Palmer rarely came out of games early, this was an exception.  He was pulled for Drew Stanton in the second half.

It was probably a good thing the two teams did not meet in 2016 however.  Detroit made a return to the playoffs.  The Lions probably would have handled the 2016 Cardinals just fine.

The big test for Detroit in 2017 will be to see if they can continue their winning ways or just continue their inconsistent ways.  For the Cardinals it is a trip to Detroit but thank goodness the game is played indoors.
