5. Matthew Stafford

Don’t let the Detroit Lions signal-caller’s career numbers against the Cardinals fool you.  Stafford can sling it.  However against the Cardinals he is 0-4 lifetime.

He has thrown just three touchdown passes and seven interceptions against the Cardinals in those four contests.  The last time the Cardinals saw him was in 2015 and the Cardinals destroyed him.  Stafford was replaced in the second-half.

Last season the Cardinals did not see Stafford.  He threw for 24 touchdowns and just 10 interceptions in 2016.  He threw for 4,327-yards with a passing completion of 65.3 percent.

He lead the Lions to a 9-7 record and a wild-card berth in 2016.  The time you really want to be paying attention to him is in the fourth quarter.  He has a knack for making comebacks late.

If the Cardinals can create any kind of pass rush though, watch out.  Stafford has been sacked at least 37 times each of the last three seasons.
