Marcus Mariota

This will be the first time the Cardinals will be facing Mariota.  He will be coming off a broken ankle suffered in the final week of the 2016 season.  He should be just fine by the time the Cardinals and Titans hook up in December.

Last season Mariota threw 26 touchdowns and just nine interceptions.  He also rushed for 349-yards and that makes him a dual-threat.  He’s a bigger and younger version of Russell Wilson.

He still has some things to learn but he is one that will figure it out in a hurry.  His two-year career numbers are 6,244-yards passing on 45 touchdowns and 19 interceptions.

He is one Heisman Trophy winner that was able to translate his game from college to the NFL.  He is likely to give the Cardinals defense fits.  Guys like Chandler Jones and Markus Golden could have a long day chasing him.

It may end up being one of those days home field advantage comes into play.  We’ll find out on December 10th.
