Carson Palmer constantly running for his life

In 2015, Palmer was sacked 25 times.  In 2016, he was sacked 40 times.  That doesn’t even count the number of times Palmer was forced to get rid of the ball or forced an interception to avoid a sack.

In other terms, the offensive line was not that good.  Injuries didn’t help but replacements came in with little experience.

The Cardinals won’t be able to keep Palmer sack-free in 2017.  However given the health of the line and the personnel on the line now, the Cardinals should be able to drastically reduce those sacks.

Getting Palmer to help out there would be nice as well.  Sometimes holding the ball too long causes Palmer to get flushed out and make a run for it.  He’s not the fleetest of foot for NFL quarterbacks.

Palmer has shown the ability to get himself out of trouble at times but if he is too concentrated on a particular receiver or if the pocket collapses in a hurry, trouble ensues.
