Ironhead Gallon

Highly thought of by those that watched him in preseason.  Some could see this safety being the odd man out once cut downs were announced.

He is also a guy that some believe could make his way back onto the Cardinals practice squad. With so much talent already on the roster at the position, Gallon was looking at an uphill climb to begin with.

Though some did believe he was good enough to make the 53-man roster, need at other positions could have played a role here.  There are definitely some sad fans out there this evening on social media.

Something tells me if not the Cardinals, someone will take a flier on Gallon and give him a shot. That shot could be on an active roster but more likely to be on a practice squad.
