The Ugly

About every phase of the game was going to make this category if you were basing it off of the first half.  Nothing was going right for the Cardinals early.

Offensive line

We know the injuries the Cardinals offensive line had.  With no D.J. Humphries, no Mike Iupati, the rest of the line really struggled on Sunday.

They gave up four sacks of Cardinals quarterback Carson Palmer.  Palmer did not look comfortable much of the day.  The Cardinals also had trouble running the ball.  They finished as a team with 25 carries for 83-yards.

Hopefully they will get either Humphries or Iupati back next week, or both.  Right tackle Jared Veldheer was beaten badly a couple of times on Sunday.

The lack of a running game really put Palmer and the passing game behind the eight-ball. Certainly the offensive line has had its better days and was thought to be improved on paper before the season began.

They can’t have the same kind of performance next week against the Cowboys or they will be run right out of their own building.  Something says they will show improvement next week.
