Josh Bynes

Not much gets said about the fifth-year linebacker from Auburn.  However on Sunday he made some plays to keep the Cardinals in the game.

Bynes had five tackles and a sack.  His sack came on the Colts first drive of the game.  He was one of the guys that showed up early.

Although the Colts ended up scoring on their first drive, it was a sack that came on a Colts second and eight.  It forced the Colts into a third down, which was not successful.

Unfortunately a Cardinals penalty nullified a Colts field goal.  They ended up with a first down and scored a couple of plays later.

As the backup to Karlos Dansby, it will be important for Bynes to continue his performance. Dansby is at the end of his career and will need spells from time to time.

Hopefully we are talking about another solid performance from Bynes next week.  It would be a shame if this was a one-time performance.
