Chandler Jones

Many will see Jones name here and wonder how he makes this list.  However after the very slow start Jones had on Sunday, he really picked it up.

Jones ended up with seven tackles, three of them for a loss on Sunday.  He had two sacks of Colts quarterback Jacoby Brissett.

Sure, this is what the Cardinals spent their money on.  Jones is just doing what he is being paid to do.

You don’t want to see an inconsistent Jones.  There shouldn’t have to be a turn on the lights moment each week.  Early on though his name was rarely called.

The final numbers show he was able to just turn it on and dominate.  From that standpoint, it was certainly and improvement over what we were seeing early on.

This should be the norm from Jones though.  The Cardinals and their fans should expect a couple of sacks every week.  Three or four a game certainly would be nice but no one keeps that pace.
