Injured players returning

Injuries are a part of the NFL.  That is a given.  Certainly the Cardinals have had their share of them so far in 2017.

They’ve lost linebacker and 2016 sack leader Markus Golden for the season.  They won’t get him back.  However there are some players that do have the chance to return.

First and foremost, running back David Johnson’s season is not done.  He can return in November.  If he doesn’t there is still a chance for December.  Whether he actually does or not will likely be determined on the Cardinals standing at that time.

They also should get left tackle D.J. Humprhies and guard Alex Boone back soon, maybe as early as this upcoming Sunday against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.  Tackle Jared Veldheer was hurt on Sunday but returned mid-game.

The Cardinals can also bring back running back T.J. Logan and guard Mike Iupati.  Only one of them will be able to come back however if Johnson returns off of injured reserve.
