The Good

Deone Bucannon

As it was pointed out, not much good came from Sunday’s game.  However the purpose of this piece is to find those things.  There were a couple.

Easily the biggest positive from Sunday was linebacker Deone Bucannon.  He had 12 tackles, one for a loss.

He also had the Cardinals lone interception.  Safety Antoine Bethea couldn’t come down with his opportunity but Bucannon did and returned his pick 40-yards.

Larry Fitzgerald

This is certainly a stretch but there had to be something else.  Fitz caught three passes for 29-yards.  He had a very nice 17-yard catch on the first drive of the game.

The catch also gave Fitz his 202nd-consecutive game with a reception.  The problem was he wasn’t targeted much.  He caught all three of his targets on Sunday.

Hopefully after next week’s bye week there will be more to fill this space with.  Just nothing went right for the Cardinals on Sunday.  Expect to see more positives in two weeks against the San Francisco 49ers.
