The Arizona Cardinals had plenty happen on Thursday night for all three categories

It was there for the taking.  The Arizona Cardinals did not take advantage in a 22-16 loss to the Seattle Seahawks on Thursday night at University of Phoenix Stadium.

There were plenty of complaints about Thursday Night Football.  Trust me, there will be a point at which we will discuss that.  There were plenty of chances for both teams to take over this game.

Both teams squandered opportunities.  The Seahawks made more big plays.  They didn’t turn the ball over, although they tried.

In the end, the Cardinals are a beaten and battered team.  They are about to send three more players to injured reserve.  Don’t blame Thursday Night Football though.

There was some good to come out of the game on Thursday night.  There was some bad and some ugly.  Seattle can say the same thing.  They get the win for their efforts though.

The loss puts the Cardinals at 4-5 for the season and likely now left to just play out the final seven games, re-group and work to start over in 2018.  As disappointing as it is, the Cardinals still have to prepare every week and play the last month and a half.
