Key injuries

Tell me if you heard this one before.  Defensive lineman Corey Peters and receiver John Brown are both out on Sunday.  They both missed the game against the Jaguars last Sunday as well.

One of the bigger question marks is Adrian Peterson.  He did not practice all week and is questionable for Sunday.  Also questionable are tight end Troy Niklas and defensive lineman Josh Mauro.

The Rams will be without linebacker Conner Barwin or receiver Robert Woods.  Wood led the Rams in receiving against the Cardinals in the first meeting with five receptions for 59-yards.

Prediction

The money in Vegas is certainly on the Rams.  They are favored by seven points.  However don’t look for the same game you saw in London.

Now that doesn’t mean the Rams won’t still win on Sunday.  They are 8-3 after all and have some quality wins under their belt.

A lot will depend on the running game for both teams.  The Rams had a 100-yard rusher in Todd Gurley last time out.  That broke the Cardinals long streak of not allowing a 100-yard rusher in a game.

This is a tougher call than one would think.  However in the end the Cardinals injuries may prove to be too much, especially if Peterson can’t go.

The Rams look good to leave Arizona with a win for the third year in a row.  If the Cardinals can win the turnover battle, which they did for the first time last week, then maybe they have a chance.
