Brandon Williams

When he came on the scene in 2016, the Cardinals were hurting big time at cornerback.  Things are slightly better now but Williams still provides youth.

He played in 13 games in 2016, starting three, finishing the season with 26 tackles.  However in 2017 he has been active for 14 games but has only made two tackles in very limited time.

While other guys like Tramon Williams have played, Brandon Williams has had a chance to watch.  That could be part of the plan.

Clearly the younger Williams struggled in 2016.  With elder Williams likely returning in 2018, do the Cardinals give Brandon Williams another year to learn behind him?  it certainly is a possibility.

To hang onto Brandon Williams says they see something in him.  He continues to be active every week.  They could have just as easily kept him but had him inactive each week.

Return in 2016 prediction: Yes
