Jermaine Gresham

Two seasons ago, it seemed Gresham would not return.  After last season, it seemed the Cardinals may be done with him.  He signed another contract.

Are the Cardinals done with him now?  He has 29 receptions for 284-yards and two touchdowns.  Not exactly a world beater but on pace to finish close to his 2016 production.

However he is inconsistent.  He looks great one week and you never hear his name except during penalties the next.

His other issue may be Ricky Seals-Jones.  His emergence could prove to cost Gresham his spot on the Cardinals roster.

Still, Gresham does have the veteran experience the Cardinals could use while Seals-Jones and Troy Niklas continue to learn.  However, with the tight end position not as valued as other skill positions, it would seem this would be the area the Cardinals could go younger and not have it hurt them as much.
