The Packers, like the Cardinals, failed to make the playoffs in 2017. The Packers will welcome back Aaron Rodgers at quarterback after he spent much of the season on injured reserve.
There are some unknowns right now with the Packers, such as what will their coaching staff look like come the 2018 season? They have some re-tooling to do on both ends of the ball.
This game is at Lambeau Field, a place where the Cardinals have never won in their franchise history, at least in the regular season. They did win a preseason game there in 2013.
The last time these two teams met was in the NFC Divisional Playoffs in January 2016. We all remember what happened that night with the miraculous Hail Mary’s by Rodgers and then the subsequent short but great overtime by the Cardinals leading to a 26-20 win.

We can only hope this game won’t be scheduled in December when there’s a good chance the weather will be inclement and the air will be frigid. It would be just like the NFL to do that to the Cardinals.
