Arizona Cardinals 2018 schedule full of intrigue

Los Angeles Chargers

The Los Angeles Chargers.  That is still very difficult to say those words.  The Chargers completed their first season in Los Angeles 9-7 and look to build on that in 2018.

They missed the playoffs by one game after an 0-4 start to the season.  This will be the Chargers franchise’s fifth visit to the Valley of the Sun since the Cardinals moved to the desert.

The last time the two teams played in the regular season was at University of Phoenix Stadium.  It was the 2014 season opener on Monday Night Football.

In just one of Carson Palmer‘s six starts that season, the Cardinals got their first of 11 victories on the season in a 18-17 nail biter.  The Chargers last defeated the Cardinals in the regular season in 2010 in San Diego.

This will be one of two visits to Los Angeles in 2018 for the Cardinals.  It is the shortest travel for the Cardinals to face any opponent in terms of distance from the Valley.
